Croydon Headteachers’ Association operates in order to ensure the best educational provision for young people in Croydon schools by networking, support and continuing professional development. Membership is open to head teachers across the Borough.

The Association currently represents the interests of Headteachers in over 120 schools and educational establishments, from nurseries and children’s centres to colleges and Pupil Referral Units.

The Croydon Headteachers’ Association meets as a full Association at least three times a year at formal business meetings and operates through a structure of committees that report back to the full membership of CHTA through an Executive Committee.
